Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Fintravo (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you ("User", "you") and Fintravo ("we", "us", "our").
2. Description of Service
Fintravo is a cloud-based financial reporting platform that transforms raw accounting data into presentation-ready financial statement packages. The Service includes data ingestion, AI-assisted Management Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) generation, financial diagnostics, customizable institutional templates, and optional video presentation generation. Fintravo serves corporate, governmental, and non-profit institutions.
3. Account Registration and Security
To use the Service you must create an account with accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or suspected security breach. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that show signs of compromise or misuse.
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
Fintravo offers paid subscription plans billed through Stripe, our payment processor. New customers receive a 15-day free trial; at trial end, your selected plan begins automatic recurring billing on an annual or monthly cadence depending on the plan you selected. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You may cancel anytime from your account billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until then. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.
5. User Data and Financial Information
You retain ownership of all financial data you upload. Fintravo processes uploaded trial balances, general ledgers, and supporting documents to generate reports. Raw uploaded files are processed in memory during your active session and are not retained beyond that session unless you explicitly save them to your account. Generated reports, narratives, and saved templates are persisted to your account until you delete them.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to: (a) upload data you do not have legal authority to process; (b) use the Service to violate any law or regulation; (c) attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code; (d) interfere with the Service's infrastructure or other users; (e) use the Service to generate misleading, fraudulent, or knowingly false financial reports; (f) resell or redistribute the Service without written authorization.
7. Intellectual Property
Fintravo retains all rights to the platform software, financial report templates, narrative engine, and underlying technology. You retain ownership of the financial data you upload and the generated reports based on your data. You grant Fintravo a limited license to process your data solely to provide and improve the Service.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates third-party providers to deliver functionality: Stripe processes payments and stores billing details; Anthropic Claude API powers MD&A and narrative generation; Creatify renders optional video presentations. Your use of the Service may transmit relevant data to these providers under their respective terms and privacy policies.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Fintravo is a tool that assists with report preparation; it does not provide financial, accounting, audit, legal, or tax advice. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and use of generated reports. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fintravo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total cumulative liability shall not exceed the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, or use the Service in a manner that may harm Fintravo, other users, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases and your data will be handled per our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Madison County, Alabama.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the email associated with your account or through an in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
